Joseph Inabnet of Falls Church, Virginia recently lost his beloved Pug. When he had to put away all of her belongings, it got very real for him. He even had to return dog food to Chewy. When he did, what came in return shocked him.
HEARTBREAK
Losing a dog can be really hard for the dog’s family. Trying to cope with the loss can be one of the worst things the owners have to go through.

After Bailey the pug died, Joseph decided to return her special Chewy food. Since the bag wasn’t opened, the dog dad figured the company would have a problem with a refund. Along with the return, he gave a reason as to why he did not want the food any longer. Luckily, Chewy did refund him his money. They also told him to donate the food, instead of returning it.
A SURPRISE
The next day, as Joseph looked through his mail, he couldn’t believe his eyes. He writes,
“Today, completely out of the blue, I received from Chewy.com the card and painting below.”

After reading the handwritten card, Joseph knew how sincere this company was being. It read,
“Pets come into our lives, leave paw prints on our hearts and we are forever changed. We’re sending lots of love and positive thoughts. If you ever need anything, we’re always here.”

Later he continues,
“I don’t know how to make something go viral, but Chewy.com deserves recognition for their outstanding attention to detail and customer service.”
After being shared 100,000 times Joseph’s post most definitely went viral. So many people adored how Chewy handled the situation. Later Many people commented on their approval of the pet food company. After all, it is pretty impressive.
If you think that Chewy did a great job with customer service, please share this post with friends. They deserve to be recognized.
