One day, a jogger was in the park. He noticed a man with a baby stroller, and he peeked inside to take a look at the little one. But there was no human baby inside — only a very fluffy boi.
The dog’s heartwarming story nearly brought tears to his eyes.
You see, Doug Delony is a regular at the park. He noticed the man with the stroller all the time. But he never saw a sign of a baby.
His curiosity got the best of him one day, so he stopped to ask the man what the stroller was for.
It turns out, the man, Troy Griffin, was using the baby stroller to get his 16-year-old Sheltie, Max, to the park each day.
Max has arthritis and is blind, and they say that he loves going to the park. They lay him in the grass and he sniffs the air.
He loves meeting new dogs
He loves meeting new people and dogs, especially poodles.
Troy, and his wife Carol live across the street from the park and it just makes it easier to get Max over there.
And they truly love going to the park with their furry friend, and he is a huge part of their lives.
“He’s part of our family. He’s taught me life lessons that I will never forget,” Troy said. “I think we should do for him what we would do for our parents, or our children.”
What a kind, loving couple. We hope Max knows just how lucky he is.
We have a feeling he does.
