Seagull Photobombs Weather Report, Watch The Newscasters Hilarious Reaction!

We all love a good photobomb, right? The unexpected or unplanned arrival of a surprise guest in your photo or video almost always brings a smile to our faces.

And, of course, some of the best photobombs ever have been done by animals.

Like many big city television morning programs, Vancouver’s Breakfast Television routinely uses a camera placed atop a tall building to monitor weather conditions over the city.

Weather reporters stand in front of a green screen where their images are superimposed with the camera image behind them.

On a typical day, the reporter illustrates the current weather using the image and talks about what to expect in the coming days. But this forecast was interrupted a couple of times by a friendly visitor checking out the rooftop camera.

A seagull stood right in front of the camera. At first, its image was hidden by the scrolling text at the bottom of the screen.

But then, mid way through the weather forecast, the friendly seagull’s head popped up on the screen.

“I won’t let him distract me,” said co-host Tara Jean Stevens as she began the weather report. Steven’s called the moment “one of the greatest moments in my broadcasting career.”

Let’s be honest, if the seagull really did not distract Stevens, it most definitely distracted everyone else who was watching at that moment.

Apparently, the seagull enjoyed his fifteen minutes of fame. He showed back up in front of the camera again a few days later.

This time, he was much bolder. He did not simply photo bomb the weather forecast. This time he turned and shook his tail feathers a bit.
