Teacher Shocked To Get A Disturbing Text From Students Dog, Immediately Dials 911

Dogs have a fantastic sense of smell. Most pet lovers know this.

But did you know dogs might also have a sixth sense that goes beyond a terrific smeller?

Science will have difficulty explaining how a dog, fittingly named Hero, managed to save a 4-year-old’s life…from 5 miles away.

Sadie, despite being undeniably adorable, is a little girl who suffers from Type One diabetes and Down’s Syndrome.

The family decided to get a special Labrador, one who is actually trained to detect a human’s blood-sugar levels.

That’s right, this dog can tell if your blood-sugar level is too low or too high, which is pretty amazing.

But how the heck did Hero manage to detect this in Sadie…from miles away?

The little girl was in school one day in Cedar Hills, Utah, when Hero suddenly started acting strangely.

Said Sadie’s mother, Michelle:

He’s normally a very quiet dog. Whining is not in his protocol.

But he just started whining and he would not stop.

Michelle didn’t think Hero could sense anything in Sadie from so far away, but she decided to text her daughter’s teacher just in case.

Her teacher came back and said her blood-sugar numbers were fine.

But then, 30 minutes later, Sadie’s numbers suddenly plummeted from 122 to 82, which meant a diabetic coma might not be far off.

Not only did Hero know, he knew from 5 miles away and BEFORE it even happened!

Divine intervention, perhaps…?

Well, either way, her father had just one thing to say after this event:

I’ve always called Sadie our little angel, and I think Hero was a little angel sent into our lives to watch over her.

Absolutely!

Doesn’t get more amazing or inspiring than this, right? Share away!
