Woman Loses Her Beloved Kitty, Five Years Later, Her Neighbor Reveals An Eye-Popping Secret

Call it fate, karma, luck, coincidence, whatever…this is one of the most interesting stories you’ll ever hear!

Five years ago, Twitter user Nguhi lost her cat Panther. She searched everywhere for him, but to no avail.

He had simply disappeared. She grieved, but life went on.

Then just recently, Nguhi got the shock of her life: Panther had returned home and the tale behind it is almost too crazy to believe.

She took to Twitter to explain:

Sometime after Panther went missing he apparently turned up in a shelter in the next city 15 mi away.

Days before he was going to be euthanized he was adopted!

He lived with a woman for a little while in yet another city; she saved his life and named him Charlie!

She had him for a little while and when she couldn’t look after him anymore she gave him to her parents.

Okay, but how did Nguhi figure all this out? Well, it has something to do with her neighbors, whom she knew quite well.

In fact, she’d fallen in love with the neighbor dog, Trotsky, and when the neighbors couldn’t care for him any longer, Nguhi adopted him.

Then one day, the neighbors needed her help in finding their cat. And she found him all right…

But it was Panther!

Her next-door neighbors were the parents that took him in when the woman who adopted him couldn’t keep him any longer!

How strange is that?!

It was of course a miracle in Nguhi’s eyes. But she already had Trotsky so she came up with a fantastic solution:

I took their dog and they took my cat.

At first, the neighbors insisted Nguhi take her cat back (Panther was hers after all), but everyone eventually decided it was best for Panther to stay where he was.

And Trotsky would stay where he was, too.

In the end, Nguhi’s long-lost friend is back, though not under the same roof. She’s just next door.

And there’s nothing wrong with that! 😀
